Employees encounter hazards daily. Hazards can include heavy machinery, tools, noises, chemicals, electricity, bloodborne diseases, and more. These hazards can lead to minor injuries, but can also result in death.
Properly training your employees in first aid can have many benefits. These benefits can be summed up in three points: preserving life, preventing further injury, and promoting recovery. Trained employees can also assist emergency responders by providing information regarding the location of a victim, possible hazards in the area, and the nature of the injury or illness.
